West Burn Lane in the historic Scottish town of St Andrews designed by Sutherland Hussey Harris Architects has won the 2015 Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award.
The project uses the world famous Petersen clinker fired D71 brick which won high praise from the judges stating: 'While the built fabric in the vicinity is predominantly structural stone, the use of a warm Continental brick with narrow courses is appropriate and welcoming.'
